Cliff is a Marine Engineer in the Royal Canadian Navy. During his tenure in the forces, his fondest memories have always revolved around his time spent and ports visited with HMCS Protecteur. Always a fighter, Cliff also volunteered and endured two rounds of the JTF selection process. He was asked to join them for the next stage of training in late 2015.
In early 2016, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 gastric cancer. He fought an uphill battle, winning most of the fights, but ultimately took a turn for the worse in early 2017.
We are asking the Canadian Naval and Marine Engineering worlds to pass the hat around to help with the financial toll of battling this terrible disease. We also ask that if you're unable to donate, please leave a message to Cliff. Any fun or funny stories to help him through this incredibly tough time to keep his spirits up are greatly appreciated.
