Cliff's Edge Dog Sanctuary

Donation protected
We live in Hot Spring County, which has no humane society or shelter; this means that local rescued dogs must stay at a foster home on their way to adoption and a forever home. My wife and I have been fostering dogs for two years and the number of dogs we foster has grown drastically during that time. We started with one, which turned to nine, then to thirteen, and now we hold steady between thirty and forty foster dogs depending on how quickly they are getting adopted. A rescue organization covers the cost of medical attention and food, and we provide the space and TLC. The area we live in is highly populated with stray, neglected, and feral dogs. Our goal is to change this problem. It has always been a dream to have a shelter where we can take in every dog we come across that is in need. We are asking for donations because it is time to build legitimate facilities -- kennels with concrete floors, buildings with heat and AC, and proper places to house and care for puppies and special needs dogs. Some of our dogs have skin infections so bad that all their fur has fallen out. Right now we are using the spare bedroom and bathroom in our house for much of this, and to best serve current and future foster dogs we need to move the operation from our house into a building designed specifically for that purpose.
