To Clifford Lang's Family and Friends,
As you all may know, we suddenly lost Cliff on July 27th do to cardiac arrest. His heart could no longer handle the many years of stress on his body. He had pages of health issues, but you would never know when speaking to him. Because he always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.
Cliff and his family have been in the restaurant industry their entire lives. From Florida, Cape Cod to WNY. When settling down with his family in Lewiston NY they opened up their own restaurant, The Fyfe and Drum. Then in 2005 they had a tragic fire at the restaurant and slowly lost everything. Cliff still did everything in his power to support his family. All while suffering with diabetes for the past 33 years, that was slowly eating away at his body. He had countless surgeries including open heart surgery, amputation of toes, and had been doing kidney dialysis for the past 5 years. He was in constant pain and suffering. But through all of this he never rested and would do anything for anyone.
But his little family was always number one. Because he was such a fighter he never planned for what would be, if he left us. Now after his unexpected death the family is struggling to keep a float and hold on to their family home. Along with the overwhelming amount of medical bills coming in.
Cliff would never want to see his family struggling in such a trying time. We please ask for any support. Every little penny will help them to get through this devastating time. Thank you for all of your love and support.
