Cliff Kyle Funeral & Settling Affairs

Cliff Kyle was a great friend and an inspiration to many in the sailing community. A disabled veteran who served his country as paratrooper in the 82 Airborne Division he later lost a leg in a horrible traffic accident. However, this didn’t slow Cliff down. Through grit and determination he was able to sail a Pearson 26 single-handed from Jamestown, RI to Matanzas, FL. Then, seeking a larger boat to take him farther he was able to buy a Watkins 29 that he sailed from Boston, MA to Wanchese, NC. Unfortunately, he ran into some mechanical and then physical challenges while in NC. He has just passed away from heart related complications. We would like to raise $5000 to help defray funeral costs and provide for the settlement of his affairs.
