Nativity Scene in Cleveland MS

Downtown Cleveland Mississippi has many wonderful holiday displays, signs, lights and a new 30 foot Christmas tree. Various donors provided these great additions to our City.

However, one major display is lacking - a traditional Christmas nativity scene.

A Christmas nativity is probably one of the most recognizable symbols of the Christmas season and we need your help in bringing one to our City.  We need your financial support today in order to have this up in time for Christmas 2017!

Funds will be used to purchase the Nativity display and the supporting decorations that will fully enhance visitors’ experiences. The Nativity Scene will be located downtown alongside existing displays but on private property. The deadline for receiving funds is December 1, 2017.

The most important thing about a nativity is its message to the world: Because our sin requires a perfect sacrifice before a holy and just God, our Heavenly Father sent His own Son to earth as a man so that He could become that sacrifice (John 3:16). The child who was born to Mary and laid in a manger would one day grow up to die on a cross and rise again so each and every person who believes in Him may receive forgiveness for sin and eternity in heaven (1 Peter 1:3-4).
