SPONSOR MY MARATHON RUN IN AID OF MSEKO
Mseko is a remote village located in rural and remote Tanzania. The living conditions are awful enough for these less fortunate souls, and to make things worse they do not have access to clean drinking water.
Mseko (4000 people, 3 sub villages within), in rural and remote Tanzania.
We are trying to start development on building 4 new wells to allow the people living in these areas easy access to CLEAN and SAFE drinking water!

It is mainly the women & children who collect the water and often they have to walk several kilometres, twice each day, to the nearest well or waterhole.
I WOULD LOVE TO RAISE THE FUNDS FOR 4. THERE IS A NEED TO INSTALL A PUMP IN EACH SUBVILLAGE. I really need your help and every donation will contribute to providing clean water to a beautiful community
I believe clean drinking water should be one of our basic human rights living on this planet. It breaks my heart knowing there are people all around the world living in these awful conditions.

My friend who has started this project took the pictures
and witnessed first hand the awful conditons these people are living in.
"I spent time with the community and embraced their stories. I saw women and children walk 3-6 hours a day to collect water from a mud hole in the ground they created themselves. The water was completely infested in parasites and bacteria which was causing severe illness amongst families and children."

Thanks to Cheers for Cheer who paid £5,000 with donors help, we have done the initial hydrogeological survey accessing the ground in order to establish the best places to build.
We also managed to fund the initial drilling which starts on the 1st of September 2017, but we still need to 5k to invest in the pumps for the first 2 wells.
With the power of social media, more people have taken responsibility amongst themselves to make changes in the world we live in. We no longer require these big fancy corporate charities to help people. With a little handwork and dedication we can each do our bit, making this world a better place for all of us to live in.
With your help and support we can fund this project and give these beautiful people a second chance at life and help them take steps toward a brighter future.
