<div>In the heart of the Amazon,<strong> 800 Huni Kuin people in the eight villages of the Caucho community face a daily struggle – a lack of access to clean water.</strong> In two villages, the situation is dire – there's no clean water available at all<strong>. </strong>For another village, a mere one hour a day is all they have.

<div>Having clean water to drink is the most basic need for human health yet today more than 30% of the world's population still lacks this vital resource. Water is not only essential for life but also a fundamental human right.

<div>The situation is urgent. <strong>The water available to the Huni Kawa community is contaminated with bacteria, algae, and parasites. </strong>Moreover, this compromised water is used for multiple purposes – from drinking and cooking to washing clothes and bathing.
