Clean Water for little Lucy(Ntombi)

As some of you may know, our family and friends recently visited a small, very rural and very, very poor Zulu village in South Africa. The village has no running water and no electricity, the people sleep on a cold, hard cement floor, they don't have enough money to buy shoes or food and the children have to walk miles and miles on a dirt road and through the African bush/jungle to get to school. It's like something you've never seen before. Our children raised money to bring them small solar powered units, christmas gifts, a bed and bedding, a dresser to put their clothes in, toiletries, food, money and clothing was donated. We are so grateful for everyone who contributed and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we couldn't have done it without you.
While we visited this zulu community, one of the babies Lucy (her Zulu name is Ntombi, which means feminine or lady) got so sick from drinking dirty water from the stream that she was in a coma for 5 days and almost lost her life to the bacterial infection and from being so dehydrated. This time when we go to South Africa in October, my daughters will be raising money to purchase water filters on "Go Fund Me" (thanks for the idea John W.
