We are currently a WA State Non Profit Organization, shortly to come a 501c3 NPO with our 100% guaranteed application currently pending with the help of BizCentral USA.

OUR GLOBAL PROBLEM:  

-8 Million Tons of Plastic make it into our ocean every single year

-1 Million Sea Birds & 100,000 Sea Mammals die each year due to plastic pollution

-Microplastics are making it into the seafood we eat & water we drink (83% of tap water world-wide testing positive for micro plastics in the water)

-Great Pacific Garbage Patch, twice the size of Texas,  with Plastics outnumbering sea life 6 to 1

-So many more heartbreaking facts...

 

CUTC - PURPOSE: 

The ultimate goal is to assist in solving the problem of plastic pollution in our world and in our oceans today.  The approach our NPO is taking is to focus on the clean up plastics, debris and trash in highly trafficked tourism areas that also end up being some of the most polluted locations in our world.   Our first & flagship destination is launching in Ambergris Caye, Belize.

 

CUTC BUSINESS MODEL: 

We want to appeal participants and philanthropists who want to make the world a better place, and have fun doing it.  This non profit runs on a Voluntourism Model, where we will create packages for visitors to come to Belize to help clean up the plastics and debris around the islands before it enters our oceans.  In an effort to GIVE SOMETHING BACK to you for helping, CUTC is making a large percentage of the time each person has on the islands to vacation and enjoy that part of the world they are saving and helping clean.   Our price points will be +/- 50% of typical costs to do this, the trips will be all inclusive, and will be targeted to be sold for 10 day trips at +/- $750.00.

 

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP:

In order to make this all possible, we need to raise funds for an initial research and partnership trip in Belize.  During this trip we need to accomplish the following:

1. Set up Partnerships with local recycling & garbage companies
2. Speak to local expats we already know & government associations to find out logistics & any red tape needing to be worked through for setting this NPO up in Belize.
3. Locate the Property we plan on building on
4. Partner with the builder that has the sustainable materials to build our eco resort
5. Our founder needs to do a test run of 40 hours of picking up plastics & garbage in the beaches of Belize so we can calculate how many pounds of plastics our 14 person team will beable to pick up each 10 day trip to calculate how effective our NPO will be.
6. Our founder needs to bring a cinematographer with him on this trip to document the problem and build media assets to support the company and round 2 of fundraising later on.
7. We need to speak to local activities and excursions providers we know already to establish support & partnerships
8. Begin to establish a GRID SYSTEM for the pick ups and how to systematically approach the clean ups on the island with our 14 person crews
9. Find as many local and sustainable resources for our support as possible.

-10 Day Trip to Belize (ACCOMMODATION & AIRFARE INCLUDED)

-Only 6 x days of your trip working 8AM - 2:30PM

-Work & make friends with 14 likeminded individuals staying with you during your stay.

-4 Days COMPLETELY FREE to do as you please, & 2:30PM - Late Night free to do whatever you want, leaving almost half the day for the beach every day you're there.

-Eco Resort Accommodation to be built / All environmentally friendly resources 

-Yoga instructor FOC teaching twice a day -making this compete with $3K+ yoga retreats

-Complimentary Organic Meal Plan during your stay / 3 meals a day

-Setting up Complimentary Excursions & Activities for your stay such as:

     --> Snorkeling Trips

     --> Sailing Trips

     --> Fishing Trips

     --> Beach Cook Outs with freshly caught local fish

     --> Live Reggae Music Parties on the Beach & Sponsored Restaurant Dinners

Please Note:

- Reserved spots with $50 donations OR MORE  will result with us reaching out to you with trip dates, and give you one week to complete payment for the trip before we open your spot back up to the next person on the waiting list.

- Accommodation location on the first trip will depend if we get the facilities built in time, and if the facilities are still being built when we launch the first trip we will find something as close as possible to what has been described.

- Flights are calculated at the $750/per person based on coming from LAX; yet we are actively trying to acquire an airline sponsor to help keep costs this low nationwide.
