<div>July 21, 2025, the day before my 61st birthday, I got a call I have been waiting to recieve for years. I finally have a date for my loose skin removal surgery - August 8! Oh my gosh, so soon! What a great birthday present! Woo hoo!

<div>In Canada this surgery is performed for health reasons and can leave one looking "unfinished" (lumps and bumps). For an additional cost of up to $3000 the surgeon can do cosmetic work to smooth out my post-surgical profile - a surgery that would cost 4x that much if I have to do it seperately and foot the full bill.  A deposit must be in before July 31,2025 for this extra work.

<div>I live in a rural area and the surgeon is 4 hours away. I will travel to and from the hospital and stay for several days before I can return home.
