Clean & Sober Rehab Campaign 2018/19

Sober Charities was created to help the disadvantaged and suffering addict or alcoholic in our community, just maybe your neighbor, a friend, an acquaintance or even a family member…that just needs a helping hand to “get right” and “get on” with the business of living a productive and reasonably happy life!!! Sober Charities works closely with various Sober Living providers and various treatment professionals.

✅ Sober Charities, founded in 2013 – is an active non-profit organization that collaboratively seeks opportunities to fulfill our vital mission in the community, that of serving the immense substance abusing (the alcoholic or addict) population in the following and exclusive manner:   We provide the funding to eligible individuals to meet their fundamental recovery needs of: 

·         Residential treatment,

·         Sober living housing,

·         Counseling,

·         Job search assistance,

·         College textbooks and educational assistance,

·         Gang tattoo removal costs,

·         GED exam fees,

·         Limited cell phone minutes for productive accessibility and related endeavors,

·         Bicycle repairs,

·         Children’s clothing,

·         Transportation assistance (bus passes) to enable participants to attend treatment, parenting classes, school and doctor-related appointments

·         Limited vehicle repair or registration costs,

·         Restoration of driver’s license fees  … and so forth.  

 ✅ The outcomes are truly impressive, including:  substantial  reductions in Recidivism (re-offense) or Relapse rates, Re-unified families, Sustained employment re-esttablished, Legal issues resolved and not the least - greatly reduced  health care cost to themselves and the communities at large!

 ✅ We genuinely help make a difference, leaving lasting - rehabilitative legacies in the communities we serve, but we know we can only achieve all this with support, thus we seek your support that makes our work possible! 

✅ Sober Charities serves the community under the auspices of The Good Samaritan Community Services of San Joaquin - working together to deliver vital and ‘accountable’ financial support to those in need of substance abuse treatment and related recovery services.

✅ Sober Charities will raise funds and in kind donations to support those in need of substance abuse treatment, sober living housing, counseling, detox, job training and referral, education as well as basic needs such as food and clothing. In addition, Sober Charities will act as a referral source to many local agencies for those in need of services.

✅ I (we) work directly with Sober Charities, helping them fundraise to help the "Rehab" (restoration) process (journey) of the multitudes of suffering addicts and alcoholics in the communities currently throughout the northern Central Valley of California
