<div>I’m DeAndra, owner of Rinse Cycle Valet from Chicago, and I own a laundry pickup and delivery business on Chicago’s South Side. Our location still has power so we’re offering free laundry pickup, wash, dry, and fold for storm-affected families in Gary. It’s a small thing next to everything they’re rebuilding, but clean clothes matter, especially for kids going back to school or parents heading back to work.

<div>Every dollar covers the actual cost of washing, drying, and delivering laundry for a family detergent, water, drying time, truck rental for transporting laundry and driver gas for pickup/delivery between Chicago and Gary. This isn’t overhead or profit; it’s the direct cost of serving one more family.
