Clay Beats Cancer Fund!

The cost of cancer is so much more than dollars and cents!!❤

On July 14th, my husband Clay was diagnosed with stage 4-a squamous cell carcinoma that originated in his tonsil and had metastasis to his lymph nodes. He's been given good prognosis and a chance of cure, but because of the type, stage, and area of the neck, treatment will be very aggressive. He will endure radiation 5x a week and chemotherapy 1x a week, simultaneously, for a total of 7 weeks, followed by 10-12 weeks of recovery. ❤

This fund was created solely to help with medical expenses. We received this scary, life changing diagnosis, and on top of the emotions and physical stress, we quickly found out just how much treatment costs and how little insurance covers! Why the $8,000 goal? Simple. That's when United Health Care starts to pick up the tab in full! We saved for rainy days, but never thought to plan for an all out hurricane! We don't believe that life is fair, and we know that we are blessed and that things could always be worse, but we have quickly been humbled by God's grace and learned to ask for help! ❤

Clay's Superman nature keeps him strong and all of our love keeps him brave! We will walk this path in faith and find it's purpose, killing this cancer along the way!! We appreciate, from the bottom of our hearts, all of the love and support we have received!! Even more than financial help, we need and welcome all of the emotional help!!
