We are thrilled to announce that we have been accepted to perform at one of the world's largest and most prestigious theatre design festivals, the Prague Quadrennial Festival in Prague, Czech Republic, June 8-18th, 2023...and we need your help to make this project a reality! ✨

What is the money for?

Your contributions will help fund the on-site costs of hosting a small group of recently graduated students / emerging artists to engage in this exciting site-specific performance project. This total will cover accommodation, food, on-site transportation, and on-site tools + project-building supplies for all participants.

Who are you + who is going?

Tooth n' Fang is an international art collective devoted to exploring interdisciplinary art-making. This year we launched our first youth program C.L.A.W. (Collaborative Learning in Art n' Wildness), which seeks to examine + explore + create outdoor art and performance inspired by the wild.

The inaugural collective comprises twelve young artists from around the world, all currently studying on Vancouver Island, Canada. A small graduating group of these folks will join Tooth n' Fang artists Lucas Olscamp and Alejandro Mora alongside a small team of artists to rehearse and perform the site-specific project in Prague this upcoming summer.

What is the performance?

A Chorus of Immortal Toxins is an immersive mask + audio-based outdoor storytelling performance project that seeks to humanize the seemingly disastrous materials polluting our world through symbolic incantation.

The performance is centered around five monologues + a series of handmade masks representing five of the most toxic human-caused environmental substances on our planet: chromium, asbestos, lead, kerosene, and formaldehyde.

Have you been to Prague + have you done this before?

Yes, Lucas and Alejandro and a team of artists attended + performed in the last PQ in June 2019 with our production ANAEMIA and are well accustomed to the city, the festival, and all associated logistics.
