Some families face challenges beyond what we can imagine. With a heavy heart, I am here to share the story of an incredible mother who left us too soon. 
 
Cláudia Matos, a Catholic, at just 45 years old, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind two teenage daughters, Clara (15) and Maria Julia (12). This mother dedicated her life to the care and love of her daughters, always fighting to provide the best she could within her means. A few years ago, in search of a better life for her daughters, she made the courageous decision to leave Brazil and move to Shannon, a small town in Ireland. There, she worked tirelessly, juggling two jobs — one in a factory and the other delivering pizzas — to ensure her daughters had the opportunities she never had. Her greatest dream was to see her daughters go to college in Ireland. Sadly, her untimely passing has left a deep void and a critical financial situation. 
 
Now, the girls are not only dealing with the immense grief of losing their mother but are also facing serious financial difficulties, far from their origins. Without the income from their mother’s two jobs, they need our help to cover funeral expenses as well as other basic necessities like housing and food. 
 
We are asking for your support. Any financial contribution will make a huge difference in ensuring the girls can continue their lives with stability, access to education, and the security their mother fought so hard to provide. 
 
Your donation, no matter how small, will be an act of compassion, helping to ease some of the pain and uncertainty that Clara and Maria Julia are facing.

Finally, I inform you that I am raising funds for my friend Claudia's family, which will be managed by the girls' uncle Eduardo Matos, Claudia's brother, with whom they are living.

Há famílias que enfrentam desafios além do que podemos imaginar. Com o coração apertado, venho compartilhar a história de uma mãe incrível que nos deixou cedo demais. 
 
Cláudia Matos, católica, com apenas 45 anos, partiu inesperadamente, deixando para trás duas filhas adolescentes de 12 e 15 anos, Clara e Maria Júlia. Essa mãe dedicou sua vida ao cuidado e amor por suas filhas, sempre lutando para oferecer o melhor dentro de suas possibilidades. Há alguns anos, em busca de uma vida melhor para suas filhas, tomou a corajosa decisão de deixar o Brasil e se mudar para Shannon, uma pequena cidade da Irlanda. Lá, ela trabalhava incansavelmente, se desdobrando em dois empregos — em uma fábrica e fazendo entrega de pizzas — tudo para garantir que suas filhas tivessem oportunidades que ela nunca teve. Seu grande sonho era ver suas filhas fazendo faculdade na Irlanda. Infelizmente, sua partida precoce deixou um vazio profundo e uma situação financeira crítica. 
 
Agora, as meninas, além de lidarem com o imenso luto de perder a mãe, enfrentam grandes dificuldades financeiras, longe de suas raízes. Sem a renda que vinha dos dois empregos da mãe, elas precisam de nossa ajuda para cobrir as despesas do funeral, além de outras despesas básicas, como moradia e alimentação. 
 
Estamos pedindo o seu apoio. Qualquer contribuição financeira fará uma enorme diferença para garantir que as meninas possam continuar suas vidas com o mínimo de estabilidade, acesso à educação e a segurança que sua mãe lutava tanto para proporcionar. 
 
Sua doação, por menor que seja, será um ato de compaixão, ajudando a aliviar parte da dor e da incerteza que Clara e Maria Júlia estão enfrentando.
