Claude (Former Chinook Student) & Luis Fund

On October 8th, 2023, at approximately 11:30pm. Luis and Claude found themselves in a tragic car accident where they were not rescued by first responders till 7am. Luis & two other passengers fatally died. Luis, was a deeply loved by his sisters, brother, mom and dad. He was also deeply loved by his community and church family. He is now resting in peace. Luis was only 23 years old, his birthday was July 3rd.

Claude is in the ICU, fighting for his life as he suffers a brain bleed. His family is with him at the hospital, praying and having faith that he will survive, but the outcome is uncertain. Claude is a 14 year old student who attended Chinook Middle School and is now a student at Foster High School. He is loved tremendously by his family, his church family, former teachers and the entire community. He is strong and we are all praying for a full recovery.

As you can imagine, the family is heartbroken over the loss of their beloved Luis and are trying to remain strong for Claude. However, there’s an immense amount of financial burdens that accompany this traumatic event.

The family will now need to cover funeral costs, medical expenses, all while missing a considerable amount of time from work. Their number one priority at the moment is to be beside Claude as he fights for his life.
