I am Asmi Shrestha, Miss Nepal World 2016. Its my pleasure to share with you all about the initiation of the project 'Classroom & Beyond'. The idea of the project is to change one school and one community at a time. With the theme 'It takes a village to educate a child', we aim to develop the school into a model school by giving the children better learning environment and quality education.
This project focuses not just in making safe buildings but also work with the teachers and the community. In addition to need based re-construction, this project will help to provide necessary tools and training to students and teachers to incorporate modern learning as well as community outreach programs,
As the name suggests, Project 'Classroom and Beyond' not only aims at improving the classrooms of schools but also work on factors influencing children beyond classrooms. Right now, this model project has started in Gorkha in a primary school called 'Bandevi Primary School' with the vision of changing one school and one community at a time.
Your individual support can pave way for these children toward quality education.All the proceeds raised from this campaign will go to the fund for Bandevi Primary School, Gorkha.
