Classroom Central Supply Kits

Hi everyone!  As many of you know I have a huge passion for teaching and hope to one day teach in a low-income area.  While enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I have researched the effects of poverty on students’ educational opportunities and it is heartbreaking to see the differences in the quality of education just because of a child’s economic status.  That’s why I am partnering with Classroom Central, a non-profit organization in Charlotte that provides children living in poverty with the school supplies they need and lifts the financial burden from teachers that are currently using their own money to help their students.    

I will be doing my part by creating kits for students which range from hygiene products to school supplies and I have launched this GoFundMe to raise money for the supplies.  Please donate whatever you can, any little bit will help a child and a teacher.  I encourage you all to read more about Classroom Central and their research about students living in poverty.  Thank you all in advance!
