Class of 1998 Memory Bench

In memory of:  Willesha Wade, Christopher D. Sutton and Lakisha Sloan

“Of all possessions a friend is most precious” - Herodotus
That seems like a throw away Facebook post you'd find on a random Thursday. But it’s also accurate. Entering our twentieth year since graduation brings memories not of a building or varsity team records, but of our friends. Our co-stars as we tight rope walked between adolescence and adulthood. Willesha Wade, Chris Sutton and Lakeisha Slone are no longer with us, but they played an important role in our journey and for that we want to celebrate them.
We are raising funds for a memorial bench to be dedicated in their honor. Our goal is $3,500 for the bench and plaque. We collect family members along the way, lets keep our friends close to our harts. Precious can be defined as ‘of great value.’ If you walked the halls with Chris, hugged Willesha or laughed with Lakisha, you have something better than gold.

Help us Reach this goal! If 35 people donate $100, or if 100 people donate $35 we’ve reached our goal!
