Clark's Chemo Fund

I'm not one to usually ask for help and I usually find ways to make things happen, though having a few set backs all I really care about is to give my baby the chance he deserves.  Right before Hurricane Harvey hit I took Clark to the vet as he started to have a limp that worried me because I noticed a lump between his shoulder blades. With a few tests, they sent us home with some medication which seemed to work the first week. As the following week approached his limp started returning so we then went back to get a different medication to see if that would end up helping him out better. A few weeks in I just noticed it wasn't working so off to the specialist we went. Clark was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma which is a fatal bone cancer that large breeds are prone to getting. The only two options were to put him down or have his leg amputated. On October 24th we had his leg amputated to relieve him of the painful discomfort the cancer had put him through with his front left leg. He is doing great and has adjusted well and the next step would be to do the chemo to keep the cancer from spreading to another limb.

We went to Oncology and they have recommended 6 chemo treatments which will last 3 weeks per treatment. This will prolong his time and keep it from spreading into other organs and eventually to another limb which I will at that time have to put him down.  The funds raised will go to his treatments which will most likely run closer to the $5000 range but any time I can buy with him is all I care about and him being pain-free. We are needing to start these treatments pretty soon because the longer we wait the higher the chance it will grow and won't be able to be controlled.

I've had Clark since he was a puppy and he has been my rock to all the good, bad and crazy times I have been through. He's the one thing that made me love and be the selfless person that I have become because I would do anything in a heartbeat for my kids and exhaust all avenues just to keep him happy.  I know the holiday season is upon us. but I would rather get to have the extra time with him around than having anything for Christmas or my birthday.  Any help is appreciated and goes a long way.
