Teaching in the Dominican Republic

Our names are Nick and Katie Clark. We have an opportunity to go teach in the Dominican Republic at Doulos Discovery School! Nick will teach high school Language Arts, and Katie will teach English as a Second Language (ESL) for middle school.
Doulos is a K-12 Christian school that provides hands-on, exploratory learning for students from all socio-economic backgrounds. It is a bi-lingual college preparatory program in English and Spanish. Over 95% of students at Doulos are native Spanish speakers, and the staff is composed of both American and Dominican teachers. American staff is required to raise full missionary support as all other funds go to paying Dominican staff as well as providing scholarships for students of low-income families.
This means that we need to raise our own support to live and teach in the DR. In order to get there, we need at least $5,000 in our support account. This money helps with our travel to the DR as well as our initial expenses with furnishing our new home.
We need your help to reach this goal so that we can go make a difference in the lives of kids in the DR!
