Clark Family Post-Fire Relief

Kari and her parents were evacuated from their home in the middle of the night on Monday, October 9th. They were forced to leave their house as the Tubbs fire was taking over their neighborhood and the town that they have called home for Kari’s entire life. We are BEYOND thankful that Kari and her parents made it out of the house safely. Unfortunately, their home was taken by the fire and they have not been able to return.
If you know Kari at all, you know that she is one of the most caring, giving and loving people on this planet. Based on the stories that she has told us about her parents, we know that they are the reason she is such an amazing person and friend.
The devastation cannot be quantified nor can our request of all of you. This is a going to be a very difficult time for her, her family and her community for the foreseeable future. Please help us by lending a hand to help them through this time.
We will update this page as we learn more about what Kari and her family need and where they are at in the recovery process. For now, money, gift cards, clothing and comfort food are the main focus. We will use our apartment as home base for any tangible goods that you would like Kari and her family to have. We can make deliveries to them any evening this week and plan to make a trip to Santa Rosa this Saturday (10/14).
Please feel free to make a donation through the GoFundMe page but please note that GoFundMe charges a $0.30 fee for each donation and takes 8% of total donations. Let us know if there is something in particular you would like us to use the funds for – or, we can track and accumulate the funds for the Clark family and send the $ immediately.
