If you know the Clark brothers, then you know nothing means more to them than family. Since I moved to Bowie in 1990, they've treated me like part of that family. We all played football together, got in a few fights together in our younger days, and shared many fishing adventures on the Cherokee. Sherry has been like a mom to me over the years, and she even sang at my wedding.
Right now their family needs our help. As you know, the boys live and work at Port Aransas. Everybody is safe, but Hurricane Harvey has wreaked havoc on their homes and livelihoods. Jered's home was destroyed completely. Tray's and Charlie's homes both had major damage, but as far as we know are still standing.
Of course they would never ask for our help, but the Clarks would be the first to help us in a similar situation. We've run across many friends who want to pitch in and get them back on their feet, so we're setting up this GoFundMe.
Anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated. They'll need your support now and again in the upcoming weeks/months if you're able. It will be a while before their incomes are back on track. Money will be used for repairing/rebuilding their homes and for covering their everyday expenses until their incomes are restored.
Momma Sherry has been set up as the beneficiary on this account so that any money raised goes directly to the family. She is the one with the most access to computers and banks right now, so that's how we set it up. She'll be sure that all of the boys get what they need to keep going.
