Clark and Kelsie IVF fund

My sweet brother and sister in-law are trying to complete their family. Ive watched them struggle over the years. I know the heartbreaking feeling of trying to have a baby and not being able to. I was lucky enough to be blessed with help from my family and friends to make our miracle happen through IVF. As I talked with Kelsie about my experience, I could see the excitement and hope in her eyes that it could work for her too. Unfortunately fertility treatments are not covered under insurance so please help me, help them make their dreams happen. I asked Kelsie to write their story(see below), please read it and if you can, help make their dreams a reality.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. In our case, it takes a village to bring a child into our lives.

Our story starts just shy of 10 years ago. When we were first married, we decided we would wait a few years to start our family. After we had been married just a couple short months, we both felt a very strong prompting that we should start our family right away. We decided to follow that prompting, and we were very excited to start our family. We assumed we were very healthy and young, and this wouldn’t be a difficult journey, as we watched all our friends having babies. As time went on, we realized, having a baby wasn’t going to be an easy task for us. It turned out that our road to a family would include years of heart ache, hundreds of prayers, and doctor visit after doctor visit.
After we finally were able to have our first child, I suffered from a hormone crash, that has since only added to our struggle. With help, prayers, and modern medicine we have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters that we are grateful for each and every day.
Our hearts still yurn for more children, and we feel that our family is not yet complete. It was something we have tried to be upbeat and optimistic about, having been blessed with two miracles already.
However, the last few months have been more on the emotional side of things, leading us to this point. A few weeks ago, I returned home from an outing and found my oldest daughter crying. I asked her what was wrong, and she told me that she didn’t understand why we couldn’t have a baby. She was confused, and heartbroken. We have had many conversations with her about mommy’s “sad” tummy, but she doesn’t fully understand.
A few months back I was referred back to the IVF clinic, where I was told, because it had been 5 years, we would be starting with a blank canvas again. We felt discouraged, and scared. We remembered what those bills looked like the last time, and knew that at this time we couldn’t take that on. I called the Fertility Clinic choking back tears, and “postponed” our appointment. Fast forward to holding my daughter while we both cried, knowing that our family wasn’t complete, I knew we had to do something. My heart was filled with peace and hope, thinking of all of the good people in this world and I knew, somehow, we would be able to move forward, if we could just have faith. It was then that I started talking with my sister in law, who has been one of my greatest cheerleaders and confidants through all of this. One of the things she said filled me with hope, and excitement, and faith, “This is happening! I am going to do everything I can to help you”.
And now here we are. Coming to you - friends, family, and kind hearted people - humbly, asking you to be part of our village, and helping us to make our family complete.
