Helloo!! This go fund me was made for my wonderful friend Clarissa. She has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Unfortunately with this diagnosis Clarissa won’t be able to work much/if at all. With that being said, herself and her boyfriend Cody need help with bills such as, medical, food, rent, etc. please take the time to read through this touching message from Cody.
I've always said "To know her is to love her" because she leaves such an impact on every one she meets. Her love for others is so great. She's the best friend you could ask for, most loving girlfriend, and most wonderful human being. When I brought her home to meet my family they didn't want me to take her away. My mom actually called me one morning angry because she had a dream the night before that I broke up with Clarissa because she complained about my snoring lol. My mom made me apologize and promise it was just a dream because she would "kick my ass if I broke that sweet girls heart"
Even here in the hospital every single nurse, doctor, and staff member she's interacted with have come back to check on her on their own time just because they care. She's made friends with the entire nursing staff and even the ones who haven't had her as a patient know about her and have nice things to say. Her first reaction to finding out she had cancer was concern for others. She told me she wanted to post something to make sure everyone takes their health seriously because she doesn't want someone to put off going to the doctor like she did. No one deserves cancer especially not someone as bright and sunny as Clarissa. Even through all the uncertainty and hard times here in the hospital she's stayed positive, made everyone around her laugh, and continues to care more for others than for herself. I think the most upset she got was when she found out I was upset at home lol. Nobody wants cancer but the cancer she got is one of the most treatable. I don't know what challenges are ahead of her but none of them stand a chance with her determination and positive spirit. She would never ask for help. But at this time anything helps.
