Clara James' Open Heart Surgery

Many of you have probably seen myself or a friend/family member of Tyler and Brittany sharing updates and asking for prayers for sweet baby Clara. I've decided to start this to try and take a little bit of the financial burden off of Brittany and Tyler.
These two are seriously the most generous people I have ever met, and would literally do anything for anyone. I know not everyone is in a position to donate, and that's okay! If you can't, I just ask for prayers for Clara and her parents!
Clara was born on September 3, 2017 when Brittany suddenly went into labor 6 weeks before her due date. She was in the nicu at Gwinnett Medical, but was transferred to CHOA at 10 days old after being diagnosed with Supracardiac TAPVR, which is a very rare heart condition. Clara has had a long history (in her short 6 weeks of life) of lung infection, lung disease, and heart defect. She underwent open heart surgery on October 5, 2017 at just 5 weeks old. She's doing well right now, and the heart is healing as it should. Her lungs are growing stronger every day, and Sweet Clara is continuing to amaze everyone with her strength! She is still in the cardiac intensive care unit at the moment, but with her improvements, it's looking like she will be headed to the step down unit in the next week. This is great news, and a step in the right direction. As you can imagine though, this bills are quickly coming in, and Clara hasn't even been home yet. Brittany started working her full time job from home just four days after Clara was born, in order to save her maternity leave for when Clara gets out of the hospital. Brittany is looking forward to her maternity leave, though the stress of it being unpaid is a little nerve wrecking. They have been spending a lot of money on gas and food, as they drive an hour to and from the hospital every single day to be with their baby. There is a chance that Clara could have another open heart surgery in the next year, although things are looking great right now! She will continue to have regular monthly follow ups with the cardiologist. The cost of formula, medications, diapers, and other living expenses can quickly add up, and my goal is to take a bit of this stress off of them so that they can focus on Clara, and Brittany can enjoy her maternity leave with her baby girl!
