Honoring Clara Dallapiazza
Donation protected
My mom passed away on October 4th peacefully with loving family members at her bedside. Her wishes were not to have any services simply because of her selflessness (she never wanted to inconvenience anyone). My brother and I placed her in Holy Family Hospice in Parma, Oh. This was the most amazing facility. The nurses were professional and compassionate, the clergy were incredible spiritual leaders; and Sister Margaret Mary (who fell in love with my mom) was wise, compassionate and loving!
I wish everyone reading this could have seen the look on my mom's face when we admitted her to the Holy Family Facility. In her words, "I am so happy". In lieu of flowers, you may donate so that Holy Family can continue their high level of care for future patients. I take solace in the fact that my mother passed with dignity and Jesus in her heart.
I plan to drive back to Cleveland where my brother, Bill, and I will present the memorial contribution to Holy Family Hospice and Chapel in the name of my mother, Clara Dallapiazza.
