Clap Your Hands

Clap Your Hands provides therapeutic products for children with cognitive and physical disabilities.
 
We are a small group of volunteers and all items made are by donation only. We are then able to provide for families ~ FREE of charge:  weighted blankets, vests, lap pads, sensory lap pads, bibs, dressing boards, maze lap pads, and therapy hand socks.
 
Who qualifies?  Children up to age 18 years old with a qualifying diagnosis and who are referred through a licensed therapist (OT, PT, ABA, SPL, CBT), early interventionist, psychoeducational specialist, school psychologist, teacher, or pediatrician.

Who benefits?  Our products benefit children who may suffer from sensory processing issues due to Autism Spectrum Disorder (including Asperger's), ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Pediatric Stroke, Sensory Processing Disorder, and many more.

How did this organization get started?  Our founder's grandchild was born with several disabilities, and out of a need to help her become more independent Clap Your Hands was born.


Why don't we charge the families?  As any family of a disabled child can tell you, the cost of raising a special needs child is astronomical and we are losing more benefits everyday from lack of health care services and support.
