Claire’s Summer Training in Italy

My name is Claire Toomey and I am a sophomore vocal performance student at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. I am starting this campaign to raise money to go to the Bologna International Opera Academy to further my operatic studies under some of the finest teachers and mentors in the industry. I would also in the same trip be able to compete in the Bologna International Opera Competition where I would be able to compete in front of an incredibly talented and vastly credentialed panel of judges and compete against incredibly talented individuals. Attending these programs is immensely valuable for my career path in in the training I will gain, the networks I will create, and the opportunities this program will allow me to have. If I am to receive your contribution, upon receiving the funding, as a thank you, I would send a personally written thank you card for your support and generosity. For any contribution over $25.00, not only would you receive a handwritten thank you but, I would send a CD of a compilation of arias sung by myself. If I can attend the program based on the contributions, I would send multiple photos of my time and training there throughout the program and a recording of my final performance. I couldn’t be more thankful for your time and consideration in helping me continue my path of achieving my dream.
