HurricaneIrma Aid Claire & Len

Claire Williams and Len Tagtmeir moved to their own piece of paradise in Key Largo 13 years ago. They have been active members of the community. Claire having worked for The Islamorada Fishing Club orginally and then for the past 10 years at Landsaw EyeCare in Tavernier. Len worked at Snappers and the former Holiday Isle. Anyone who has met Claire and Len know they are a fun-loving, real couple who are dedicated to their family and grandchildren. They are the type of people who really care what you have to say and always keep up with friends no matter where they are.  They are used to helping others, working for what they have and not needing to ask for help. All that changed with Hurricane Irma.
   In 36 hours, their home of 13 years was reduced to rubble, the majority of their posssessions are gone, and Claire is temporarily out of work. Thank God Claire and Len were safe and not in Key Largo.  They have lost their home, and along with it the daily life they have loved for 13 years. It is impossible for them to know which step to take first to rebuild their lives. Please consider helping them get the first few steps going towards what will have to be their new normal.
