Claire Mannon Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On the afternoon of December 27th, 2019, while out with family and friends, Claire and several others (including her dad) were involved in a horrific accident involving an explosion. Claire suffered significant burns to over 35% of her body and was transported by air from Cranbrook, BC Canada to the Critical Care Burn Unit at Vancouver General Hospital. Claire will remain in Vancouver until they are able to transport her back to the United States where she will begin her long road to recovery that will include a lengthy hospital stay and several surgeries.

Claire is 18 years old and they only girl in a family with four brothers and two step brothers. Originally from Geneseo Illinois, Claire moved to Arizona to live with her dad and step mom in 2016. She graduated high school from Gilbert Arizona in the spring of 2019. Since then, Claire has been attending Northern Arizona University (NAU) as a first year nursing student.

Claire is a beautiful young woman on the inside and out. She has an amazing outlook on life and not only loves, but thrives helping others. This is one of the main reasons she was pursuing a career in nursing.

As this tragedy happened outside of her home country, the financial impact will be significant -not only for the initial treatment of her injuries now, also the rehabilitation following and for her family and support system, that will be so desperately needed. Anything that you can do to help this family would be greatly appreciated. All donations will be received by Claire's Dad, Peter Mannon to cover the medical expenses for Claire.
