Conor Callery Donations

Conor has only recently joined the Vertech family, but has proven to be an instant fit. Conor’s personable nature and technical expertise have made him very well-liked and respected among field crew and office staff alike. Conor was handpicked to represent the company on our prized Gorgon Project, however 2 days before mobilising for his first swing an emergency at home forced Conor to stay at home with his family. A very new addition to Conor’s young family had been admitted to hospital with a very serious condition.

As many of you know the nature of our business means it is very difficult to plan things in advance, and make time for unexpected events. Often the pressures of income and bills become mixed up with the real priorities in life. Conor’s situation had been kept in confidence among the people who needed to know, however within this small group everyone wanted to contribute in some way to alleviate some of the stress on Conor and his family. We talk a lot about Vertech being a family and how we stand united, this seems a most deserving opportunity to demonstrate the culture which sets us apart.
