Healing Haiti One Week At a Time

My name is Sarah and I am a Registered Nurse pursuing a Masters Degree in the Science of Nursing with a focus on education. However, I also have a special interest in public health, more specifically, the health of vulnerable populations and populations of people with limited resources and access to healthcare. I have decided to travel to Haiti for one week where I will volunteer my time, knowledge and skill to provide the people of Haiti much needed, and deserved medical attention. Donations made to this website go toward funding my trip expenses; airfare, trip costs, and supplies. Any additional funds will go directly toward the organization I am traveling with and will assist in paying for medications and vaccinations for the patients we see in Haiti.
