CJ'S Medical Expense/Rehab Fund

On August 2, 2017 my 17yr. old nephew was involved in a head on collision with a tractor-trailer.  He had to be extricated from his vehicle and was rushed to the nearby trauma center because  he sustained severe injuries to his left leg and left hand.  Miraculously, he did not sustain any head injury.  His femur bone was broken in half and he also had a very deep laceration right down to the bone on the outside of his leg from his knee down to his ankle.  His hand was completely fractured and his pinkie finger almost severed.  

After 5 1/2 hours in surgery, doctors were able to put his leg back together using several rods and pins.  His hand had to be completely re-constructed using metal plates.   He now has severe nerve and tendon damage.  We don't know if he will ever have full use of his hand again.  He is going to need more surgeries in the future along with months and months of Rehab and Therapy to try to gain the use of his hand and  his leg.  We thank God that he is still with us today.

CJ is a very smart, talented, energetic and creative young man who has received several academic awards and is also on the schools wrestling and football teams.

CJ was getting ready and looking forward to starting his senior year in high school and vocational school this September, where he wanted to pursue his dream as a "Certified Welding Engineer".    

I am setting up this fund without even knowing the depth of the expenses to be incurred.  His mother and father are missing work to be by his side.  They are going to be facing a substantial amount of medical bills from hospitals, doctors, rehab, and therapy.
