Funeral Expense for my Dad

Today my father passed away after a 3 months of suffering from complications after an overdose. For the last 24 years I’ve been struggling to make peace with his life choices, but at the end of it all he was still my dad, and he loved me. Tomorrow I have to make the trip to Alabama to arrange for his funeral expenses, he had no life insurance and as his daughter and next of kin I have the responsibility to cover this expense. Unfortunately, I was not prepared for this type of financial obligation but I hope to give him a service that I feel every one deserves. I would never ask, and it hurts me so much to ask, but as I have many times donated what little I could to help others, any small amount would help. I am forever grateful to the people who choose to give, or even to those who can’t, and would say a prayer for me and my family. Thank you.
