Neko Surgery

Hello Everyone!
As many of you know, Neko has not been feeling well for 3 months..we have tried 5 different antibiotics, a steroid, and an allergy medicine and nothing worked. He finally saw the amazing Dr. Noonan at the Veterinary Specialty Center at Illinois. She did a urine test and found out that Neko tested positive for fungus in his nose. This fungus has been the cause for Neko's constant runny nose, fever, and lethargy. A fungus is extremely hard to treat, but there is a surgery for it. They drill two small holes into Neko's little head (I am a mess thinking about this), and fill the holes with what is equivilant to athletes foot cream. The cream then drips down into his sinus cavity and hopefully begins to kill the fungus. If he does not have this surgery, the fungus will get into his brain and it will be detrimental. I absolutely hate having to ask for help, especially when money is involved, but any little amount would be so helpful. Neko and I thank you so much for anything you can do to help...spreading the word, positive thoughts, kissing your own babies..it will all help. The surgery is called Sinus Trephination if you care to look it up..it's pretty intense. Surgery is scheduled for Monday, August 11th. Thank you so much again!
