Our 25th Wedding Anniversary
Donation protected
Mark and I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage Jan 14th, 2016.
We were so excited to announce that we are hosting a party to celebrate with family and friends.
We chose a venue and made the deposit.
Soon after we got the news that Mark's cancer has spread...now more than ever we want to have this celebration as you really never know if you will get the chance to celebrate another year of marriage.
Mark was diagnosed with Ocular Melenoma 10/27/2011 and Proton Beam Radiation treatment was done and he was doing great. June 11th 2015 he was told that the melenoma had spread to the liver though his blood. We are at the beginning of treatment for Metastatic Melanoma which is now stage 4 cancer and are hopeful that we can beat this too!!
He had what they call a resection of his liver on Aug. 20th they took out what they saw. After examining the lesion removed and the surrounding tissue they discovered microscopic lesions where they thought was healthy tissue. Next is immunotherapy, then chemoembolization or immuneombolization. And cross our fingers that it doesn't continue through his blood to his lungs, brain and so on. There is no cure for Metastatic Melanoma. Just treatment to last longer.
If there is anyway we could get some help paying for our 25th Anniversary Celebration it would mean so much!!
