Civil Liberties United

"Civil Liberties United" is Write Now! SF Bay's  third multicultural anthology since 2016.  Write Now! SF Bay has published almost 200 writers of color and allies,  and supports them through free monthly creative writing workshops and countless readings.

People of color are  60% of Bay Area population according to US  Census estimates, yet we remain under represented, underpublished and underfunded.

"Civil Liberties United" features 300 pages of poetry, prose and art from 100 writers and artists of color and  allies celebrating the diversity that  truly makes America great. Civil liberties matter—to everyone, not just those who are targeted now. Those who keep silent may be next.

In polarized times, democracy cannot be taken for granted. And neither can the hard work that keeps Write Now! going. We need to pay for printing, proofreading, production, admin, and photo and video documentation. Help keep us sustainable with a donation.

(Write Now! SF Bay's  fiscal sponsor is  Intersection for the Arts.)
