The City Hope Food Truck is the last of our first three initiatives to launch and we need your help! Access to a nutritious meal can be a challenge for a significant number of people living right here in the Lehigh Valley.
Current research shows the demand for food aid in the Allentown area has increased 45% in the last year. The Food Truck aims to meet those who cannot leave their home or care for themselves because of illnesses and limited mobilities like the elderly or those who do not have access to food like children living in distressed home environments. With your help we can fill this gap together. We will continue to collaborate and establish partnerships with local service providers and small businesses, so the Food Truck can deliver FREE prepackaged foods to those who are in need.
Throughout the 2020 calendar year City Hope initiatives meet the needs of 2,600 families and individuals throughout the Lehigh Valley. Our hope is to double this number with the launch of the Food Truck; this is your opportunity to partner with City Hope and fight hunger in our local neighborhoods and communities. All contributions will go towards the purchase of the truck, graphics and any modifications/maintenance needed. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
