Mi nombre es Lilibeth Silva, naci en Venezuela pero ahora vivo en Canada.
Recientemente mi suegro, el cual vive en Venezuela, sufrio un dolor fuerte en el abdomen y luego de varios examenes medicos le diagnosticaron que tiene una aneurisma de aorta abdominal, basicamente, la aorta abdominal se inflamo y mi suegro requiere de una delicada cirugia, en la que le deben cortar una seccion de la aorta que se dilato y reemplazarla con una protesis. El procedimiento quirurgico se llama "angioplastia endovascular".
La operacion es costosa , y adicionalmente la protesis debe ser comprada fuera del pais, ya que en Venezuela no esta disponible.
El martes 30, le realizaran un examen Angiotac para poder conocer el tipo especifico de protesis que se necesita para poder comprarla y programar la operacion.
Los fondos que se recauden seran utilizados para pagar la operacion y la compra de la protesis.

Mi name is Lilibeth Silva, I was born in Venezuela but I moved to Canada.
Recently, my father in law, who lives in Venezuela, suffered an acute pain in the abdominal area. He went through various medical test and he was diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aunerism, basically, a section in the wall of the aorta got streched and bulged. Because of this, my father in law requires surgery to remove the streched section of the aorta and replace it with a prosthesis. The name of the surgery is Endovascular Angioplasty.
This kind of surgery is very expensive in Venezuela, and the prothesis is not available in his country so we have to purchase it in the United States.
On Tuesday January the 29th, he will go thorugh another test, which will provide specific information to the doctor to select the prothesis.
All the collected funds will be used to pay for his surgery and the prothesis.
