Circus Trees @ POST.Festival in Indiana

Hey everyone:
We made an announcement this week, in case you missed it, that we have been invited to perform at one of the largest post-rock festivals in the US, and we could not be more excited, more honored, or more nervous. We are just three young sisters from Boston’s suburbia, and we are being invited to travel all the way to Indiana to perform with some of the most awesome bands, some of the most influential bands to us, and in front of a huge crowd - its a lot to take in.
And as we look at the trip, and we look at our band funds, and we look at the distance, we know we are going to need some help.
The drive will be about 1850 miles back and forth, about 28 total hours (more if we stop at lots of gas stations, which is our favorite thing to do on the road), and we will need to stay in town for three nights. We are, of course, taking our brothers along, and our parents, in order to share the drive time, help us with equipment, record the whole thing, and share in the joy of it all as a family.
But still, that is a lot of money; we think the whole thing will cost about $3800, plus another $3000 to make new merchandise for the show. Totally worth it, of course, but still not easy to scrape together.
We wouldn’t think of just asking you to donate money to us, though you’re welcome to do so if you want. But we would really like to ask you to consider buying some of the merchandise we have available so that we can have some cash built up in our account to pay for things like the van rental, hotel stays, food and gas.
We have our EP for sale, which many of you have bought on vinyl. We also have t-shirts available in various sizes. We would be happy to sign these, ship these to you, or whatever you want. In order to help cover costs and allow us to get a few bucks off of each purchase into our bank account, we'd like to suggest donating $25 for a t-shirt, or $50 for an EP on vinyl. Also, if you haven’t already, a good way to give us a small measure of support is to buy our EP or any of our singles off bandcamp here: https://circustrees.bandcamp.com/
