Cinthia's Family Hurricane Fund

Donation protected
As many of you know, Cinthia's from Puerto Rico and a large portion of her family still lives there. Of the five homes they shared, four were basically destroyed and are unlivable, leaving all the household members cramed into a single, partialy flooded home. To make matters worse, they still have no power or cell service, and are running out of food, gas, and other consumables.

Cinthia's mission: She and several members of her local family will be traveling to Puerto Rico shortly, packing food, clothes, medicine, and even a small portable generator in hopes of being able to travel from the airport to the one remaining home (not a sure thing with car rentals, gas, roads, etc, being questionable.)

As all of you know, Cinthia would never ask for money, but after hearing of her family's mounting expenses, i.e. tempary building suplies (insurance is not even close to being on the scene yet), water filtration, gas, food, medical supplies, a satalite phone (they'll rent for the trip), etc, I felt many of her friends would be moved to help, even if she would never ask.

Even small donations will help her family through this nightmare.

Thanks for giving!

Update: We met our initial $1,000 goal in 21 hours -- unbelivable! You guys rock!

Since then, I've had several requests to increase the goal, so our new stretch goal is $2,500.  Either way, these funds are going to be a great help to her family!
