We ask for any and all support and Greatly Appreciate all that have helped us in this battle!
Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) is a rare blood disorder. In TTP, blood clots form in small blood vessels throughout the body. The clots can limit or block the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the body's organs, such as the brain, kidneys, and heart.
TTP is a rare disorder. It is fatal and causes lasting damage, such as brain damage and stroke, if it's not treated right away. Cindy has had two strokes, numerous bleeds, spontaneous bone breakage white lesions on her brain all from this disease. The pain that she is in every day in which medicines cannot help. We don't know from day to day what else will come.
The Above pictures are just a few of what Cindy goes through each time she relapses. These are just the ones I can show. This is a brutal and unforgiving procedure that she has to go through with no pain medicine to help her. It is all done with out anything for pain. A nightmare and not something I would wish on anyone. Just one of the reasons I'm trying to get her to better medical care.
