Cindy's Fight Against Cancer

My good friend, Cindy Langford Alcorn, age 47, from Cleghorn, IA has recently been diagnosed with Sarcomatoid Malignant Mesothelioma, the least common and most aggressive of cancers.  She will soon begin 3 cycles of 3 weeks of chemo, 9 weeks total, at June E Nylen in Sioux City.  
Following the chemo treatments, Cindy will need to go to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX.  She will undergo a  10 to 12 hour "Specialized Debulking Surgery with Heated Chemotherapy Bath".  This procedure is performed by only 2 surgeons in the USA, both in Houston.  
Without this treatment, Cindy has a 6 month to 2 year life expectancy.  BUT, with the procedure, she has a chance at 5 to 10 years.  HOWEVER, this is not a prognosis that we are accepting!  With God's Healing Hands, and our help, Cindy can beat this!
We all just have to provide the prayers and funds, Cindy will provide the FIGHT!!  
Cindy and her husband, Ed, live on Ed's disability income, so have very limited funds.  Cindy has a son, Dustin, who is 27 yrs old.  She has worked over 20 years as a CNA in nursing homes.  Because of the lifting involved in patient care, Cindy has had neck surgeries, shoulder surgery  and herniated discs.  No longer able to do this work, she still wants to give to others - - she has been pursuing a Physical Therapy career.  Cindy graduated with her Arts and Science degree, from WIT, in 2016, and was pursuing her PT license when she was diagnosed with this cancer.
Please, donate whatever you can - - it will all help.  It is very urgent that we raise enough money for Cindy to travel to Texas quickly.  That way, her appointment can be made without delay.
