Cindy Wood and family

Cindy Wood was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in April 2018. She has endured 4 months of chemo. Radiation was to begin September, but was postponed due to CT scan results showing cancer has spread to her lungs. The plan now is for Cindy to start 9 weeks of a different chemo, then undergo stem cell transplant which involves a 2-3 week hospital stay during Christmas time - with little, to no contact with her sons.

Daniel works at home. As you can imagine, it's very difficult for him to concentrate on work during this time, but he's doing his best. Cindy and Daniel have 2 amazing sons, 1 & 5 years old. They have health insurance, but it does not cover everything. So far they've had to pay over $12,000 out of pocket. Daniel had to take a pay cut, since he cannot travel to CA for his employer during this time. This fund will help them pay for their out of pocket medical expenses and other additional expenses.

Cindy is 36 years old. She loves to run ... has completed many marathons, she taught Zumba 2010-2017, she sings on her church's worship team and attends Bible study, she homeschools her 5 year old, and LOVES to be with her family. If you cannot attend, prayers are so appreciated.
