When I took my early retirement at age 63, I didn't think I would need medical coverage as I was in good health. Unfortunately my cancer in my mouth returned and my only option was proton therapy, a form of radiation that burned a hole in my jaw bone. All of this was covered by my COBRA insurance, but when COBRA expired, I was left uninsured for 3 months until I reached 65. During this 3 months, I had hyperbaric chamber treatments to help heal my gums, this treatment which is what I'm totaled $24,00.00 which is what I am asking for your help in covering.
