Cindie Needs a Bathroom

My name is Kayla Goulart, and my mom was recently diagnosed with terminal stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to the bone, and shortly after, her husband of 30 years passed away. She is currently undergoing treatment, and has the support and assistance of her family and friends, but there is a major renovation project that she need financial assistance completing.

The shower in her bathroom currently leaks into the walls and onto the floor, and the garden tub is elevated, making it difficult for her to get into and out of the shower. As her treatment continues, her strength will wane, and she will have more difficulty taking care of herself.

With your help, we'll be able to afford to replace the garden tub in her bathroom with a walk-in shower and ensure that the fixtures are all water-tight. This will also let her continue to live in her home and be more self sufficient as she undergoes chemotherapy and radiation treatment. We have a contractor already lined up and he would be able to start work on this project as soon as we're able to gather the necessary funds.
