Mission Work in Tanzania!

Four years ago God placed a yearning in my heart to serve His people in Africa, and after much prayer and waiting I was able to take my first trip last year. I spent three incredible months living and serving at the Neema House in Arusha, Tanzania. Now, I have been so incredibly and uniquely blessed with the opportunity to go and serve at the Neema House again, for the month of December. Neema means grace in Swahili, and it is only by Gods grace have I come to know and love the people of Tanzania and the babies at Neema House. At the Neema house are 31 beautiful babies that need and deserve lots of love! All of the babies at the Neema House are either orphans, have been abandoned, or have families that are not capable of caring for them, but all of them would not have anywhere else to go if not for the work that is happing at Neema. Also, I will have the opportunity to continue investing in relationships in Arusha, and be able to keep teaching people about our Lord. Firstly, please join me in praying for these precious babies, and for those that work with them in Tanzania. I also ask that you pray specifically for the country of Tanzania where there is severe poverty and disease everywhere. The mortality rate of mothers giving birth is 1 in 39 where as in America it is 1 in 4700! Please also join me in prayer that the babies that are growing up at Neema House will be healthy, happy, and know Jesus as Lord. I wholeheartedly believe that Arusha is where God is leading me, and I am excited to see what He is doing in Arusha this December. With that being said I need to raise $2,900 for my trip. I have been prayerful about this, and I believe that the money will come. What I am asking from you first is to pray, pray that the light of Christ will shine brightly in Arusha, and that people will come to know Jesus as Lord. I am also humbly asking, if possible, for a donation to my trip. To me, any donation monetarily or prayerfully is needed and a great blessing! God has placed a love for the nations in my heart. I believe that I will be serving Him in missions for the rest of my life, and I also believe that it quite possibly will be in East Africa. My dream is to run an orphanage for babies and children that have nowhere else to go and, I am taking the opportunity to serve in Tanzania very seriously. Not just as a way for me to give back what God has given me and to personally grow, but also as an opportunity to continue to gain insight and understanding into what it looks like to run an orphanage and live on the mission field in the midst of a vastly different culture. God’s grace and mercy is abundant and I am so thankful for the time and ability to serve and learn at Neema. Thank you for your prayers.
