Help a full-time missionary in Argentina

This year, I will be serving as a full-time lay missionary with the Servants of the Lord, a missionary group of nuns located in Mendoza, Argentina. During the year, my main work will be serving in the orphanage, as well as the Home for the Disabled. The home works with disabled children, as well as disabled mothers who are unable to care for their children. During this time, I would greatly appreciate your prayers and any sort of help that you can offer! Your generosity is seen by the Lord, and He can never be outdone in generosity.
When I was younger, I always hoped that I would become doctor and live a successful life. As I grew older, there was an overwhelming love of serving others that made it my main goal to become a doctor, and then establish missionary clinics in third world countries. Finally, I got into medical school and felt my life was falling together just how I planned. Then I fell in love with God, and started letting Him make my plans for me. I started seeing how His plans for me surpassed mine and took me on adventures I could never imagine. I started to uncover the love of mission that He placed in my heart. I went on mission trips to third world countries, like Haiti and Guatemala, where I finally felt I was answering my call. The Lord has really given me a love for the poor, a way to see the face of Jesus in them. After a lot of prayer and by His grace alone, I took the leap to defer medical school and live the life of a missionary.
Going on this trip will allow me to see what the Lord is asking me to do in my life, as a witness to Christ’s love and His powerful call for me. We are called to serve, whether in Argentina, or in the subway station or even through your supporting me. Let us find our own Calcutta. I am asking for your help as a sister of Christ. Through your prayers and financial assistance, you too can become a missionary and grow in graces through the encounter with these wonderful people of Argentina. Thank you for all your support!
HOW will your money help me? This money will go towards my cost of living and flight expenses, but most importantly to the Servants of the Lord, who are helping in every way to support all the poor in Argentina and other parts of the world. Their profit goes toward medical expenses and living costs in the orphanage and their other homes for the needy. I will be creating a blog shortly, where you can keep up to date with the work we will be doing over the months.
