What is CIL-Con?
CIL-Con is central Illinois premiere paranormal, horror, anime, gaming, and pop culture convention. It is held annually in Mattoon, IL. CIL-Con is held at the Cross County Mall in Mattoon . The 2020 CIL-Con will be held Sept. 11-12, 2020.
CIL-Con has always prided itself on being a FREE family friendly event. It is our goal to keep the convention free of charge so that families can afford to bring their kids out to experience a comiccon type event. Because of this, we rely heavily on the community for donations and sponsorship's. Without your help nothing is possible!
Every year we look for ways to help the community and promote local charities. This year due to the 9/11 date we are going to be honoring our military and first responders. Stay tuned to see what we have in store!
